Our services

SurfaTech redoes facades with the ADEX system and repairs damaged concrete, then covers it with the system made for that surface: acrylic for balconies, steps and pools, epoxy for garages and businesses. No posted prices: every slab is different and the estimate is free.

The ADEX system redoes an exterior wall from start to finish: foam insulation boards cover the facade, then one or two coats of ADEX acrylic finish it. The house is better insulated, protected from the weather and gets the colour and texture you choose.

The concrete is prepared and repaired, then covered with polymer cement and two acrylic finish coats. The steps get an even finish without being replaced.

See the repair steps

Before: cracked, crumbling concrete. After: the same step, repaired then coated.

Every project starts with preparation. We clean, repair the damaged concrete, then apply the coating that suits how the surface is used. The result lasts because the base is sound.

How it’s done, layer by layer

A coating lasts only as long as what lies beneath it. Pick a system, then scroll down: the cross-section builds up at each step.

CHEMTEC epoxy

  1. Garages, basements and commercial floors, with CHEMTEC epoxy coatings.
  2. 1

    Grinding or sanding the concrete

Mechanical preparation opens up the concrete surface so the epoxy bonds to it instead of sitting on top.

  3. 2

    Repairing imperfections

Cracks, holes and chips are repaired as needed. A flaw left underneath eventually shows on top.

  4. 3

    The epoxy system

The epoxy coat chosen for the project: solid colour, flakes or a metallic finish.

  5. 4

    The protective topcoat

A clear coat that protects the finish against wear and stains, when the system calls for it.

Choose your epoxy finish

Three finishes, dozens of colours. Pick a finish: its photos play on their own.

Flake epoxy

Coloured flakes broadcast into the epoxy. The textured finish hides dust and small marks: it’s the most popular choice for a garage.

Frequently asked questions

For any other question, call (514) 632-4674.

How much does a project cost?

The price depends on the area, the condition of the concrete, the preparation needed and the coating system chosen. The estimate is free and tailored to you. We reply within 24 to 48 business hours.

How long does the work take?

On average 2 to 3 days for a balcony, a staircase or a garage floor. On MARTEX acrylic you can walk after 24 hours. On an epoxy floor you can walk after 24 to 48 hours and park your car after 4 days.

What is your warranty?

Exterior work (facades, foundations, balconies, steps and pool decks) is guaranteed for 5 years. Indoor epoxy floors are guaranteed for 10 to 15 years depending on the system. The exact terms are written in each estimate.

Do you work in the fall and winter?

Yes, all year round. Epoxy floors and indoor work are done in winter too. Exterior acrylic coatings are applied from 8 °C, depending on the weather and product requirements.

Why not just paint the concrete?

Paint stays on the surface and eventually peels on concrete exposed to water and frost. Our systems start with mechanical preparation and concrete repair: the coating bonds to a sound base.

What products do you use?

CHEMTEC epoxy coatings, MARTEX acrylic systems and, for facades, ADEX systems. You can see their colours: CHEMTEC epoxy, MARTEX acrylic and ADEX.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Interac e-Transfer, cash, and debit and credit cards.

Do you repair foundation cracks?

Yes, from the outside: excavation as needed, cleaning, crack injection, a waterproofing membrane, a Delta-type protection membrane when planned, then backfilling.
